About Spencer
Although Spencer has always maintained a passion for film, his media journey truly began in high school when he started making short films and producing his high school ‘Morning Show’. Here, Spencer got the foundation of his filming and editing knowledge.
After high school, Spencer moved up the east coast to Boston to attend Northeastern University as a combined major of Communications and Media/Screen Studies. During his time at Northeastern, Spencer worked his first internship as a marketer at Deskera, a startup fin-tech company in Boston. While at Deskera, Spencer lead the management/creation of social media content and sales materials. For his second internship, Spencer worked at Red Summit Productions where he worked as a production assistant, put together crews, created pitch decks, found props, made social media content, and created his own shorts. Two months after wrapping his internship at Red Summit Productions, Spencer PA’d of the set of feature horror film “Outen the Light”.
Also while at Northeastern, Spencer joined Bipartisan Disagreement and Pi Kappa Phi. At ‘BD’, Spencer is the Social Media Chair and is responsible for the popular segment ‘Hot Takes’ where he fulfilled the roles of producer, host, and editor. Spencer is the Philanthropy Chairman of Pi Kappa Phi and has raised thousands of dollars for the Ability Experience.
While finishing up his studies at Northeastern, Spencer is continuing to expand his portfolio, hone his craft, and work as a PA in the New York and Boston areas.
